Halberds are long polearms incorporating elements of both the pike and the poleaxe. Accordingly, this gives the halberdier a variety of options when fighting infantry or cavalry, and they are equally effective against both. Halberdier Sergeants are the veterans of the mercenary companies and have armour and weapons to match their excellent fighting skills. Deploy them as the spearhead of an assault, or to hold the line against the enemy's heavy cavalry.
